Samsung Insider SamMobile has already shown us Android 5.0 (Lollipop) previews for the Galaxy S5 and S4. Now it has released a Lollipop preview for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It reports, “We have got our hands on an internal build of Lollipop for Galaxy Note 3. It shows us just how Samsung’s new TouchWiz UI looks on last year’s phablet flagship, while bringing support for all of the new features that come as part and parcel of Android 5.0 Lollipop. It looks pretty similar to Lollipop on the S4, and only the Settings and Multi-Window have been updated.”
Speaking about the UI, the site says, “As far as the user interface is concerned there are new animations which are smoother than before, while the core green elements of Android Lollipop have been replaced with Samsung’s signature blue color. These design changes are pretty evident in the attached screenshots which also depict the new system-wide font, new icon colors in Settings, and an overall better look and feel.”
It seems Samsung has also included the Multi-Window feature that can only be found on the Galaxy Note 4. This means enhanced multitasking on the Galaxy Note 3.
With this Lollipop preview for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 leaked, we’re guessing the update will soon roll out to the phablet.
