We know for a fact that the Korean tech giant will be rolling out the Android 5.0.1 (Lollipop) update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. The question is, when? Although we can’t confirm when Samsung is planning to roll out the Lollipop update for the two phablets, we can show you what Lollipop will look like running on the two devices, thanks to videos posted by renowned Samsung insider SamMobile on YouTube (1 & 2).

There are a number of new features to expect once Lollipop is available for the Note 4 and Note Edge. An example is Display and Wallpaper settings that allows users to select Ambient Display. Pressing the circle icon on the top corner of the device will display a box that shows how much storage is eaten up by content such as images, music, voice, documents and others. Another is Share with Contacts. It is a new messaging option that allows users to send a long text message, share photos with friends, and check the delivery status of a message. Last but not the least is the addition of a fast/slow motion video recording option. The update also includes bug fixes.
According to reports, the Lollipop update for Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge will be rolled out sometime in January.
