This new rumour comes to us courtesy of Korean-speaking MK.co.kr. According to sources speaking to the site, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will come with a dual camera setup, similar to that on the HTC One M8 and the Huawei Honor 6 Plus. The report adds that both Apple and Samsung have been looking into the advantages of a dual camera setup, with the Korean tech giant reportedly testing prototypes of the camera for devices to be launched next year.

Lately, we’ve been hearing a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S7. According to past reports, Samsung has developed a new system, which allows the company to roll out flagships a few months earlier than expected. If true, this would mean that Samsung would start production of the Galaxy S7 as early as January and unveil the smartphone sometime in February. For reference, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge were unveiled in March.

Going back to the report out of South Korea, it reconfirms that the Samsung Galaxy S7 may come with a significantly larger screen, specifically, bigger than a 5.7-inch screen like that on the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Previous reports have claimed that the Galaxy S7 will be available in two screen sizes. One is said to sport a 5.2-inch screen, while the other is said to come with a 5.8-inch screen.

Previous report also claim that the Samsung Galaxy S7, likely depending on the region or variant, will sport two different processors under the hood. One is said to sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, while the other is said to come with Samsung’s upcoming processors, made under the company’s rumoured Exynos M1 project.

Of course, since this is anything but official, take this information with a pinch of salt. Samsung is yet to officially announce any details about its upcoming flagship, so whether or not the S7 will sport a dual camera setup or a larger screen is yet to be confirmed at the moment.
