Back when Samsung lifted the lid on the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge, it kept quiet about the Galaxy S6 Active and the Galaxy S6 Mini. A few months after, the Korean tech giant announced the S6 Active, and it looks like the S6 Mini will make its debut soon, if leaked photos are to be believed.
The photos above were sent to PhoneArena by a “loyal PhoneArena reader.” Although the photos are a bit dark, they show what seems to be a smaller version of the Galaxy S6, which is also clad in metal and glass.
Sadly, the photos did not come with specs, but word on the street is, the Galaxy S6 Mini will sport a 4.6-inch or 4.7-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, a 15-megapixel rear-facing camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor with four ARM Cortex-A53, two ARM Cortex-A57 cores, and an Adreno 418 GPU, and 2 GB of RAM.
It is yet to be determined when Samsung is planning to lift the lid on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini, but we have a feeling that the more compact version of the S6 will make its official debut when Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and the Galaxy Note 5 on the 13th of August.
Of course, since we can’t confirm if the photos show the real deal or not, take these with a pinch of salt.
