At BUILD 2014 that kicked off earlier this month, Nokia lifted the lid on the Nokia Lumia 930, it new high-end offering that runs the latest version of Microsoft’s mobile platform, Windows Phone 8.1. So when do we get to buy the new smartphone? According to WMPoweruser, Vodafone Germany will start accepting pre-orders in May. The handset will be released in June. This means that the smartphone may be put up for pre-order by Vodafone UK at around the same time or soon after.
In case you didn’t know, the Nokia Lumia 930 sports a 5-inch AMOLED 1080p screen, a 20-megapixel rear-facing PureView camera, dual LED flash, and optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with an Adreno 330 GPU for superb graphics, 2GB of RAM, and a 2048mAh battery. With these specs, it will give any rival flagship a run for its money.
Of course, since neither Nokia nor any other retailers have confirmed the release date of the Nokia Lumia 930, take this with a pinch of salt.
