On Nokia’s Facebook page, Microsoft teased a new Lumia handset to be unveiled today, teasing just the corner of the device. Now, photos have been leaked courtesy of Chinese-speaking Baidu, allegedly revealing what the Redmond firm has in store for us. Say hello to the Microsoft Lumia 535!
Microsoft did announce that it was planning to ditch the “Nokia” brand in Lumia handsets and replace it with “Microsoft.” If these photos are genuine, the Lumia 535 will be the first Lumia handset to bear the software giant’s name.
So what does the Microsoft Lumia 535 have to offer? According to previous reports, the device will sport a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 540×960 pixels, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a .3-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB of internal storage, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a 1900mAh battery, and Dual SIM support. Like anything Lumia, the 535 will run Windows Phone 8.1. The device is said to be available in 7 various colour options.
Microsoft is expected to lift the lid on the device today.
