Recently, Microsoft confirmed that it is working on bringing Windows 10 or at least some of the software’s features to Lumia handsets sporting low-end specs. It looks like one of these devices is the Nokia Lumia 635.
This is according to Garbiel Aul, Microsoft’s leader on the Windows performance team, said on his Twitter account, “I rotate through devices, but right now daily driver is a 512MB Lumia 635. W10 is very smooth on it overall.”

What does this confirm? Since the Lumia 635 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor coupled with only 512 MB of RAM, it is one of the least powerful Lumias running Windows Phone 8.1. Since Windows 10 runs smoothly on the handset, it will probably run on the Lumia 530, Lumia 525, or the Lumia 520.
So when is Microsoft planning to roll out Windows 10 for phones? The software giant is expected to push out the update in the summer. Until then, keep it here at Phones LTD for further updates.
