In an earlier report, we came across a leaked photo allegedly showing the unannounced Moto E side-by-side with the Moto G. Now, the device’s official renders and specs have been revealed by a retailer. The retailer in question is Brazilian retailer FastShop.
According to the retailer the Moto E (model number XT1025) sports a 4.3-inch screen (resolution was not mentioned but is rumoured to be a 720p screen), dual-SIM capabilities, 3G support (not 4G), Wi-Fi, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with no flash, no front-facing camera, 4GB of internal memory, support for a microSD card (up to 32GB), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 1980mAh battery. Dimensions include 124.8x 64.8×12.3mm. Previous reports said it would be 6.8mm thick, which seems to be inaccurate. It weighs in at 140g. It will run Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box.
Motorola is expected to lift the lid on the Moto E tomorrow in London.
