Word on the street is that Motorola is planning to release a new flagship called Droid Turbo and a phablet called the Moto S (code named “Shamu”). Now, photos of the rumoured devices have surfaced courtesy of Chinese-speaking Hellomotohk.
The Motorola Droid Turbo’s rumoured specs include a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels (Quad HD), a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor, and 3GB of RAM. If ever this monster of a smartphone does make it to the UK, we’re guessing it will be called the Motorola Turbo, Moto Turbo, or Moto T.
The Motorola Moto S phablet’s rumoured specs include a 5.9-inch screen with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels (Quad HD), a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, and a Snapdragon 805 CPU with an Adreno 420 GPU under the hood.
The leak shows both the Turbo and Moto S bearing Verizon’s (US network operator) branding. We are yet to determine if the two will be headed to the UK.
