Motorola has lifted the lid on its new super smartphone the Droid Turbo. Sadly, the device is US Verizon exclusive, which means the only way you can get your hands on the device is to fly all the way to the US and become a Verizon subscriber. Fortunately, it seems an international version is coming, as photos of the device have been leaked.
So what do the photos reveal? They re-confirm specs we already know about the device, including a massive 3900mAh turbo charging battery (with just 15 minutes of charging, you get 8 hours of battery life), a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels (Quad HD) and a pixel density of 565ppi, a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 2.7GHz quad-core processor, and a Kevlar rear shell. As you can see it looks very much like the Droid Turbo. One of the photos also re-confirms that the international version of the Turbo will be called the “Moto Maxx.”
Although Motorola is yet to lift the lid on the device, it would make sense for a Brazilian to test the super smartphone, since Motorola will be hosting an event in Brazil today (invitation shown below). The invitation clearly shows the Turbo. So we’re expecting a big announcement from the Lenovo-owned phone maker soon.
Looking forward to the Motorola Moto Maxx? Keep it here at Phones LTD for further announcements.
