Earlier, retired leak artist Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) leaked an alleged render of the Google Nexus 6 (aka Motorola Shamu), which looks a lot like the Moto X 2nd Gen. Now TKTech has also leaked the rumoured handset alongside the Apple iPhone 6 Plus.
The photo reveals that the 5.5-inch Apple iPhone 6 Plus (left) is dwarfed by the 5.9-inch Google Nexus 6 (right).
Nexus 6 specs include a 5.9-inch screen with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels (Quad HD) and a pixel density of 496 ppi (the iPhone 6 Plus sports a 5.5-inch 1080p screen (401 ppi)), a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation) tech that can record 4K videos, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 2.7GHz quad-core processor with an Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and a massive 3200mAh battery. The smartphone runs Android L out of the box. As you can see, the Nexus 6 is a monster of a device.
Google is expected to lift the lid on the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 tablet made by HTC anytime soon. It is also expected to introduce Android Wear 2.0 and reveal what the “L” in Android L stands for.
