Huawei is rumoured to be cooking up a new Nexus phablet. Now a tweet is claiming to have more details about the said device.
This is according to serial leakster @OnLeaks. Starting with the body, he says that the new Nexus phablet made by Huawei will be clad in metal for that more premium look and feel. This is exciting news, since Nexus devices are always clad in plastic.
Moving on to measurements, the leakster says that the new Nexus smartphone will be 159.4 mm tall, 78.3 mm wide, and 6.6 to 8.5 mm in thickness.
As for the screen, it is said to come with a 5.7-inch screen, but failed to mention the screen’s resolution.
Other specs include front-facing speakers and a fingerprint scanner found on the back. If true, it seems the upcoming Nexus smartphone will be jumping onto the fingerprint reader bandwagon, which seems to be a trend for high-end devices these days.
Lastly, the tweet says that the new Nexus smartphone will come with a USB Type-C, which allows users to plug in the charger on either side and not worry about plugging it in the wrong way.
LG is also rumoured to be cooking up the next Nexus smartphone.
Of course, since this is anything but official, take this information with a pinch of salt.
