The Huawei P8 will not be available globally until May, but it is now available in China, which is understandable since China is Huawei’s home country. It seems Chinese buyers were quick to grab the opportunity to own the new flagship as Huawei’s online shop Vmall lists the device as “sold out” soon after the device went live in China.
According to Huawei, the Huawei P8 will set interested parties back in Europe €499 (around £357).
To recap, the Huawei P8 sports a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (pixel density of 424 ppi), a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual LED flash, an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie-centric camera, 32 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 64 GB), Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 930 octa-core processor with each core clocked at 2 GHz, 3 GB of RAM, a 3,000 mAh battery, and a fingerprint scanner on the back. It measures 144.9 x 72.1 x 6.4 mm. It runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Huawei’s Emotion UI slapped on top.
Like we mentioned earlier, the Huawei P8 will be available in Europe in May.
