Rumour has it that Huawei is cooking up a trimmed down version of the Huawei P8 called the Huawei P8 Lite. Now the yet to be announced device has been certified by TENAA, the Chinese version of the US FCC. This is an indication that the smartphone will make its debut in China soon.
The TENAA listing also reveals specs. It reveals that the P8 Lite will sport a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 16 GB of internal storage, Huawei’s Kirin 620 octa-core processor with each core clocked at 1.2 GHz, and 2 GB of RAM. The smartphone will be 7.7 mm thick and weigh in at 131 g.
So when will we get to see the Huawei P8 Lite? The Chinese firm will be hosting a press event on the 15th of April in London, where the Huawei P8 is expected to make its debut. The P8 Lite could make an appearance at the event as well.
