The screenshots you see above come from an unlocked HTC One (M8) in Malaysia, which were sent to SoyaCincau. The update is yet to roll out to the smartphone in the UK.

HTC promised that it would start rolling out the Lollipop update to the HTC One (M8) and HTC One (M7) in 90 days after getting the final code from Google. The Taiwanese phone maker made this announcement back in November, which means the update is expected to roll out either this month or in early February.

The OTA update started rolling out to unlocked units of the HTC One (M8) on Monday. The update is a massive 650 MB. Lollipop includes the new multitask screen, a new lock screen, and so much more. It will come with Sense 6 not Sense 7.

Now that the update has rolled out to HTC One (M8) owners in Malaysia, we’re hoping that Lollipop will roll out to the smartphone in the UK soon. Since the update rolled out to unlocked versions of the handset in Malaysia, expect the same in the UK. Network operators subject update to testing before rolling them out to customers.

Phones LTD will let you know once the Lollipop update is available for the HTC One (M8) in the UK.
