Tweet says Lollipop update for HTC One (M8) to come with Sense 6 not Sense 7

Last week, a report leaked screenshots of the HTC One (M8) running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with the Taiwanese firm’s Sense 7 UI slapped on top. However, according to a new tweet, the update will not come with the Sense 7 UI but Sense 6 instead.

Unfortunately, we can’t confirm if the tweet is accurate or not, since HTC is yet to roll out the update.

HTC has promised that it will be rolling out Android 5.0 (Lollipop) to the HTC One (M8) and HTC One (M7) once it gets the final software from Google. This means that the update should be available for the two handset towards the end of the year or January of 2015.
