Earlier during the week, we came across an alleged press render of the rumoured HTC One Mini 2 (known in the past as the HTC One (M8) Mini) encased in a protective casing, which was leaked on Chinese-speaking Weibo. The photo revealed that the handset will not sport a Duo Camera like its bigger brother the HTC One (M8). See the render below.
Now, one of PhoneArena’s “loyal readers” has sent the site a press render of the HTC One Mini 2 without the protective case. The new leaked render also confirms that the handset will not sport a Duo Camera. See the render below.
According to previous reports, the HTC One Mini 2 will sport a 4.5-inch 720p screen, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, 16GB of internal storage, a Snapdragon 400 1.4GHz quad-core processor, and 1GB of RAM. It will run Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Sense 6.0 UI slapped on top.
Unfortunately, we still don’t know when HTC plans to lift the lid on the said smartphone. But, since its press renders have begun to leak, we’re guessing the device will make its debut soon.
