We’ve been seeing a lot of the HTC One (M9) / Hima as of late, and new leaked photos have revealed that the Taiwanese phone maker has moved the power button to the right side of the device. The HTC One (M8)’s power button is found on the top.
The photos you see above come to us courtesy of Phandroid‘s “reliable source close to the Taiwanese company.” They show a device that looks similar to the HTC One (M8), with a few changes here and there. One of which is the position of the power button that can now be found on the right side of the device.
The source also claims to confirm some of the smartphone’s specs. These include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor and 3 GB of RAM. The photos seem to confirm a 5-inch screen.
Past reports claim that the HTC One (M9) will sport a 1080p screen, a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera, an UltraPixel front-facing camera, and a 2,840 mAh battery. It will run Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with the Sense 7.0 UI slapped on top.
Of course, there’s no way for us confirm if these photos show the real deal or not, so take it with a pinch of salt.
HTC is expected to lift the lid on its next flagship at MWC 2015 in early March. If not, we’re sure to get more information on the device by then.
