The HTC One M9 is HTC’s flagship for 2015. Unfortunately, the smartphone did not sell as well as rival flagships, resulting in lost profits. According to recent reports, HTC’s next flagship will not disappoint. It is rumoured to be called the “HTC Perfume.” Specs still remain a mystery at the moment, but we’re guessing it will feature a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) screen, ranging from 5 to 6 inches. Under the hood was rumoured to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, coupled with 4 GB of RAM. It was expected to feature 64 GB to 128 GB of internal storage. In the camera department, the HTC O2 was expected to feature a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera to take care of snapping selfies and video chat. To keep the lights on, a 3,500 mAh battery is said to be on board. Front-facing BoomSound speakers and a fingerprint scanner are also expected to be on board. The device is also expected to run Android 6.1 out of the box with the Sense 8.0 UI slapped on top. It is expected to make its official debut sometime in the second half of 2016.
