HTC has rolled out a software update to units of the HTC One M9 in the US, specifically Verizon and Sprint users with the update soon rolling out to AT&T and T-Mobile customers, according to Phandroid. The update improves the performance of the smartphone’s camera.

To recap, the HTC One M9 sports a 5-inch 1080p screen, a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera made by Toshiba, a 4-megapixel Ultrapixel front-facing camera, front-facing BoomSound speakers developed by Dolby Audio, 32/64 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (as much as 128 GB), Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor under the hood with four cores clocked at 2 GHz and four cores clocked at 1.5 GHz, 3 GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 2,840 mAh battery. It runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with HTC’s Sense 7.0 UI slapped on top.
At the time of writing, HTC is yet to roll out the update for One M9 owners in the UK.
