HTC will be hosting a press event on the 8th of April. At the event, we’re expecting to see the HTC One M9+, the HTC One E9, and HTC One E9+. If a report is to be believed, we will also see a new HTC-made tablet (concept shown below) at the event – the HTC T1H. This is according to a report from Chinese-speaking MyDrivers.
Word on the street is the HTC T1H will sport an 8.9-inch screen with a resolution of 1530 x 2048 pixels, a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, 16 – 32 GB of internal storage, an Allwinner H8 octa-core processor with each core clocked at 2.2 GHz, a PowerVR SGX544 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, a 6,700 mAh battery, and stereo BoomSound speakers. It is said to be 7.88 mm thin and will run Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with HTC’s Sense 7.0 UI slapped on top.
Reports add that two versions of the device will be available – the HTC T1H Wi-Fi (a Wi-Fi-only version of the tablet) and the HTC T1H LTE (a version of the tablet that supports 4G LTE connectivity).
Of course, since this is anything but official, take this with a pinch of salt.
