HTC has lifted the lid on the HTC Desire 626 in its home cjountry of Taiwan (1 & 2), revealing that the smartphone cost the equivalent of around £123, which puts it in the same price range of the Motorola Moto G 2nd Gen.
To recap, the HTC Desire 626 sports a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, front-facing dual speakers, 16 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, LTE connectivity, 1 GB of RAM, and a 2,000 mAh battery to keep everything going. As for the processor under the hood, the version headed to China will come with a MediaTek octa-core processor, while the other version headed to other markets across Asia will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core processor. The Desire 626 is compatible with HTC’s DotView cases.
It is yet to be determined if the HTC Desire 626 will be available in North America or Europe.
