The internet is currently flooded with leaks involving the HTC One M9, making the unannounced smartphone one of the worst kept secrets in the smartphone arena. In response to these leaks, Jeff Gordon, Senior Global Online Communications Manager at HTC, said the we “have no idea” what the company has in store for us.
Jeff Gordon said on his Twitter account, “The best parts of HTC’s March 1st launch event are the parts you have NO IDEA are coming.”

So far, we’ve learned that the HTC One M9 will sport a 5-inch 1080p screen, a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 4-megapixel Ultrapixel front-facing camera, 32 GB to 64 GB of internal storage, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor under the hood, 3 GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 2,840 mAh battery. It will run Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with HTC’s Sense 7.0 UI slapped on top. We’ve also seen the leaked renders and videos of the device, so is there anything else we should know?
What else the Taiwanese phone maker has in store for us is anyone’s guess, but we guessing it will be the HTC One Max 2, follow-up to the HTC One Max. Of course, since this is speculation, don’t take our word for it.
HTC will be hosting an event on the 1st of March at MWC 2015 in Barcelona, Spain, just two days from now. We’ll know by then what else the company has in store for us. Until then, keep it here at Phones LTD for further updates.
