These days, leaks are all about the unannounced Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, and LG G5. However, if you’re an HTC fan, not much is leaked about the HTC One M10, until now.
Alleged HTC One M10 photo
The photo above is said to be the HTC One M10. Normally, we’d tell you to take the photo with large doses of salt, but considering that the leaked photo comes from a reliable source, it may just show the real deal. The photo was leaked by renowned leakster Evan Blass, who is also popularly known as @evleaks on Twitter. Blass has a reputation of leaking accurate information on unannounced devices.
From what we can see, the HTC One M10 looks nothing like its predecessor the HTC One M9. It does look a lot like the HTC’s mid range HTC One A9. In a past tweet, Blass said that the HTC One M10 would resemble the HTC One A9.
The HTC One M10 in the photo features a rounded home button, which is similar to that on the HTC One A9. This rounded home button is also said to double as a fingerprint scanner. The photo also lines up with past rumours that claim that the HTC One M10 will no longer have that HTC-branded black bar.
To recap, the HTC One M10 is rumoured to feature a 5.1-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD). Under the hood is expected to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, coupled with 4 GB of RAM. It is expected to feature with 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage options. It is said to feature a 12-megapixel UltraPixel rear-facing camera with laser auto focus. If these rumoured specs are accurate, the HTC One M10 will be a huge upgrade from last year’s HTC One M9, which only featured a 1080p screen and the infamous Snapdragon 810 SoC.
