China certifies HTC One (M8) Eye

TENAA, China’s equivalent of the FCC in the US, has certified the yet to be announced HTC One (M8) Eye. It has also posted photos of the device in its website.

According to the Chinese authority, the HTC One (M8) Eye will sport a 5-inch 1080p screen. Previous reports claimed that the device will sport a slightly bigger Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) screen. It also reveals that the smartphone will have these dimensions: 146.36×70.61×9.45mm. Colour options are said to include gold, gray, silver, blue, red, and orange.

According to reports, everything else under the hood will remain the same, apart from the cameras. The HTC One (M8) sports a 4-megapixel UltraPixel rear-facing Duo camera, while the HTC One (M8) Eye will sport a 13-megapixel Duo camera.

HTC is expected to lift the lid on the HTC One (M8) Eye on the 8th of October, just a few days away.
