The unannounced HTC Desire 728 was spotted last month in China’s equivalent of the US FCC, TENAA, which revealed the mid-range smartphone’s specs and design. This suggested that the smartphone would be officially unveiled soon. Now, Anzhuo has leaked live photos of the handset.
So what do the photos tell us? First of all, it looks like the HTC Desire 728 will come with thinner top and bottom bezels, unlike most handsets made by HTC. Previous reports claim that the handset will sport dual front-facing BoomSound speakers.
According to previous reports, the HTC Desire 728 will sport mid-range specs, including a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 16 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a MediaTek MT6753 1.3 GHz CPU under the hood, 2 GB of RAM, and a 2,800 mAh battery to keep the lights on. It will run Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with HTC’s Sense 7 UI slapped on top. It measures 157.9 × 77.8 × 7.87 mm and weighs in a 150 g. It has dual SIM support and is believed to be a China-exclusive.
