The Android 4.4.3 (KitKat) update for the HTC One (M7) in Europe has begun to roll out in countries such as Slovakia and Romania, Slovak-speaking AndroidPortal reports.
This, however, isn’t your ordinary Android 4.4.3 update. It includes security updates from Android 4.4.4.
According to past reports, HTC will no longer update the M7 and/or M8 to Android 4.4.4. Instead, it will jump directly to Android L towards the end of the year.
Back to the update, it weighs in at 550MB and updates the software version to 6.09.401.5. It includes improvements to the camera, settings, gallery, and HTC Sync manager. BoomSound, the Quick Setting feature, Motion Launcher, Wi-Fi, network connectivity, and Bluetooth have also been enhanced.
Other countries in Europe including the UK are sure to get the update soon.
