Users who have made the switch from an iPhone to something else can now ‘deregister’ iMessage

If you’ve made the switch from an iPhone to Android, Windows Phone, or BlackBerry, you must have been annoyed knowing that your messages were still being coursed through iMessage, Apple’s messaging service, which means your new chosen platform will not receive the messages. This is all in the past, as Apple has created a tool that eliminates this problem.

The tool is called “Deregister iMessage,” which is a page on Apple’s website. All you have to do is enter in your mobile number, and wait for Apple to send you a code. Once you receive the “6-digt” code, enter it on the page provided. This will deregister you from iMessage, which means messages no longer pass through the message service and you to get your messages again.

If you’re looking to deregister iMessage, hit the link provided above.
