Apple recently rolled out iOS 8.1.1, which speeds up the iPhone 4S and iPad 2. The update also came with bug fixes and enhancements, but it also spawned new issues for iOS users. Additionally, iPhone 4S owners are complaining that the update didn’t fix the bugs it was meant to squash. An example is the inability to get a stable Wi-Fi connection. iOS users took to the Apple Support Communities to voice out their complaints. The thread involving iOS 8 Wi-Fi issues alone consists of 82 pages at the time of writing.
iPhone users have been complaining about the inability to turn off the copy/define feature on mobile Safari. iPad mini owners complained about their tablet getting very hot while playing games. An iPhone 5S owner is complaining about problems with Bluetooth after updating. An iPhone 6 owner is complaining about sound problems after downloading the iOS 8.1.1 update. The list just goes on and on.
Although iOS 8.1.1 has created more bugs than it has fixed, Apple is sure to be aware of the problem and is likely working on a fix to be rolled out soon. So stay tuned.
