We’ve been hearing a lot of the iPad Pro, Apple’s rumoured 12-inch iPad. Now, a photo that reportedly shows the tablet’s mold has been leaked.
The photo comes to us courtesy of Czech-speaking site LetemSvetemApplem.eu, which seems to have spotted the photo from a Chinese website. The photo shows what looks like an massive aluminium mold of a large tablet that is carried by a forklift. The photo was allegedly taken from within a Foxconn factory.
Although we can’t really tell how big the tablet will be from the photo, we can tell that it will be much bigger than the current 9.7-inch iPad Air 2.
According to previous reports, the iPad Pro’s thickness will be from 6.9 inches to 7.5 inches. Other rumoured specs include a 12.2-inch to a 12.9-inch high-resolution screen and an upgraded A8 chip. The biggest difference, however, between the iPad Pro and the regular iPad is software. Past reports claim that the iPad Pro will feature split-screen functionality and will cater more to productivity.
The Apple iPad Pro is also said to be called the “iPad Plus.”
Apple is expected to lift the on the iPad Pro in the spring.
Of course, since this is anything but official, take this with a pinch of salt.
