Ever since Apple released the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, we’ve seen a lot of clones from China. A new clone has been spotted, and it doesn’t just run Android like all the iPhone 6 clones we’ve seen. It also runs Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.
This new iPhone 6 clone comes from Chinese phone maker Gold-east, a brand we’ve never heard of before. The handset is being sold in Alibaba and costs less than £70.
Like every other clone, it looks strikingly similar to the Apple iPhone 6. If you are wondering what it has to offer, the Gold-east smartphone sports 5-inch HD screen, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 8 GB of internal storage, support for as much 32 GB from a microSD card, a MediaTek MT6592m octa-core processor with each core clocked at 1.7 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, and a 2,000 mAh battery. Like we said earlier, it runs Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) with Samsung TouchWiz UI slapped on top.
We’re pretty sure the Gold-east smartphone will not be available outside of China. If it were to be sold outside of Chine, we’re pretty sure Apple would quickly slap a lawsuit on the Chinese firm.
