When Apple rolled out iOS 8, it came with a number of issues. Apple tried to fix these problems with iOS 8.0.1, but the patch made things worse. Apple rolled out iOS 8.0.2 to try and fix these issues, but some users are reporting that there are still issues. Just recently, there was a way to downgrade from iOS 8 to iOS 7.1.2. Sadly, the Cupertino firm no longer allows the downgrade.
The news comes to us courtesy of Macworld. If ever you try to revert back to iOS 7.1.2, you will receive a message from iTunes like the image you see below.
So what does mean? If you were planning on downgrading to iOS 7.1.2 due to the issues that plague iOS 8, we’re sad to say that it is too late. Apple has stopped signing the previous version of iOS.
