French-speaking NWE, a site renowned for leaking accurate information on yet to be announced devices, has leaked images and a video of what it claims to be the housing of the Apple iPad Mini 4.
From what we can see from the images and video, it seems Apple has taken design cues from the Apple iPad Air 2 and applied them to the iPad Mini 4. Unfortunately, the leak didn’t mention specs, but since previous and the current iPad Mini all sport 7.9-inch screens, we’re guessing the iPad Mini 4 will sport the same screen size as well.
The images and video reveal four rows of 14 holes that replace the two rows of 10 holes found on the iPad Mini 3. Additionally, the lock switch has been removed from the iPad mini 4 and replaced by a tiny hole that is likely for a microphone, which is what Apple did with the iPad Air 2.
Of course, since there’s no way for us to verify if the images and video are authentic, take this with a pinch of salt.
