We’ve been coming across a number of reports claiming to spill the beans on the Samsung Galaxy S6. Now we’ve come across the alleged metal chassis of the Korean tech giant’s next flagship.
The photos you see above come to us courtesy of French-speaking NWE. If you look closer, you’ll notice that the chassis looks a lot like the iPhone 6.
Apparently, sources are also saying that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will look a lot like the Apple iPhone 6. An “executive at a local parts supplier” told KoreaTimes, “The Galaxy S6 will make its debut in two versions ― flat and rounded screens. It will have a metal build, which will make it look even more like Apple’s latest models.”
If the Samsung Galaxy S6 were to look even slightly like the Apple iPhone 6, we’re pretty sure it’ll be a lawsuit waiting to happen, as the two have been at each others throats in various courtrooms around the world over design patents.
To recap, word on the street is the Samsung Galaxy S6 will sport a 5-inch to 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD), a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation), a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie-centric camera, Samsung’s Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core processor under the hood, and 3 GB to 4 GB of RAM.
Of course, since we can’t confirm if the photos show the real deal or not, take this with a pinch of salt.
