Recently, what was claimed to be a blueprint of the rumoured 12.2-inch “iPad Air Plus” or (“iPad Air Pro”) was leaked, revealing a few more details about the device including dimensions (305.31 x 220.8 x 7 mm (12 x 8.7 x .28 inches)). These dimensions suggested it would be big enough to house a 12.2-inch screen and the Touch ID fingerprint scanner. Based on the blueprint, a video has surfaced comparing the iPad Air Plus with existing Apple iDevices.
Check out the video below to see how the iPad Air Plus stacks up against other iDevices.
According to the video, the iPad Air Pro may be used as a more productive tool rather than for entertainment. It also speculates that since it may be used more for productivity, it may not run iOS but OS 10 instead. Additionally, it may launched to compete against the Chromebooks that have been replacing iPads in the education market.
Of course, Apple is yet to officially announce the iPad Air Plus, so treat this as mere speculation for now.
