Microsoft recently lifted the lid on three new smartphones that run Windows 10. These include the high-end Microsoft Lumia 950 and Microsoft Lumia 950 XL and the entry-level Microsoft Lumia 550. It looks like a fourth device that runs the latest version of Windows will soon make its official debut, as an alleged render shows the unannounced Microsoft Lumia 650.
Leaked render allegedly shows the Microsoft Lumia 650
The photo above was leaked by WinBeta. The render doesn’t show the “Lumia 650” branding, but, on the top right of the screen, the time “6:50” is shown. Past Lumia devices, including the newly unveiled Lumia 950 and Lumia 550 show the times 9:50 and 5:50 respectively, meaning the time on the screen reveal the model numbers. So we’re guessing that the time 6:50 reveals the device’s model number – Lumia 650. The Lumia 650 is said to known internally as “Saana.”
Sadly, not much is known about the Lumia 650 at the moment. Additionally, there’s still no word on when we should expect the device to make its official debut or when the device will be launched by Microsoft. We do know, however, judging from Microsoft’s past Lumia 600 series, that the device will be affordable. The device is also likely to offer more powerful specs than the entry-level Lumia 550. The Lumia 550 features a 4.7-inch screen, and the Lumia 650 is likely to sport a screen that is bigger than the screen on board Microsoft’s new Windows 10-powered handset for the masses. It’s a dead cert that the Lumia 650 will run Windows 10 out of the box, and is likely to be the fourth Lumia handset to run the latest version of Windows.
Liked we mentioned earlier, there’s still no word on what CPU the Lumia 650 has under the hood or what else the device has to offer. We’re sure, however, to come across more information on the device in the coming weeks.
