Check out the first promotional video of the Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL

Microsoft recently lifted the lid on its two new high-end devices – the Microsoft Lumia 950 smartphone and the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL phablet. Now the devices’ first promotional video has gone live.

To recap, the Microsoft Lumia 950 smartphone sports a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (Full HD), which works out to a pixel density of 424 ppi. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit 1.8 GHz hexa-core processor with an Adreno 418 GPU to handle graphics. 3 GB of RAM is on board. The smartphone offers 32 GB of internal storage. If this is not enough, the device comes with a microSD card slot for additional storage options. A 20-megapixel rear-facing PureView camera with triple LED flash, 5th generation OIS, and ZEISS optics will snap high-quality photos and record 4K videos, while a 5-megapixel front-facing camera will take care of selfies and video chat. To keep the lights on, it comes with a 3,000 mAh battery that can fast charge and supports Qi wireless charging.

Meanwhile, the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL phablet ports a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1140 x 2560 pixels (Full HD), which works out to a pixel density of 515 ppi. Under the hood is the controversial Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit 2 GHz octa-core processor with an Adreno 430 GPU to handle graphics. 3 GB of RAM is on board. The smartphone offers 32 GB of internal storage. If this is not enough, the device comes with a microSD card slot for additional storage options. A 20-megapixel rear-facing PureView camera with triple LED flash, 5th generation OIS, and ZEISS optics will snap high-quality photos and record 4K videos, while a 5-megapixel front-facing camera will take care of selfies and video chat. To keep the lights on, it comes with a 3,340 mAh battery that can fast charge and supports Qi wireless charging.

Worried about the processors causing overheating issues? Don’t worry. Microsoft has equipped the two with liquid cooling tech, which is the first time the tech has been used on smartphones.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 and the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL run Windows 10 Mobile out of the box.

The two will be available sometime in November.
