Three different LG branches across Europe have confirmed that the Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update would be available for the LG G3 before the end of the year. These include LG Netherlands, LG Belgium, and LG Germany, with LG Germany adding that the G2 would bet updated to Lollipop as well after the G3. Recently leaked screenshots seem to corroborate these announcements.
The screenshots you see above were leaked by Polish-speaking Lifeisgoodblog. If these screenshots are real, this would mean that, with Google recently releasing the source code, the South Korean phone maker is already working on updating its flagship to Android 5.0 (Lollipop).
Unfortunately, we can’t confirm if these screenshots are legit or not. Fortunately, 2014 is soon coming to a close, so we don’t have to wait very long to find out.
