Nexus 6 back in stock from Google Play UK, but won’t ship until 2015

If you were looking to get your hands on the Google Nexus 6 for the holidays, it must have been frustrating seeing that Google Play Store UK lists the device you’re interested in as “out of stock.” The good news is the search giant’s first phablet is now “in stock.” The bad news is you won’t get your hands on the device until 2015.

According to Google, you can order the Google Nexus 6 today, but it won’t ship until three to four weeks from now. So there’s no chance for you to get your hands on the device until the first weeks of January.

Currently, only the blue 32 GB version is available from Google Play. The silver and 64 GB variants are still out of stock. The available variant will set you back £499.

If you’re really itching to get your hands on the device, retailers such as Clove are accepting pre-orders, but it won’t get to you until late December. Carphone Warehouse will get you one the fastest, with the retailer promising free next day delivery of the 32 GB blue version of the phablet. Network operator O2 has also run out of stock of the device, but promises that it will have fresh stock soon.
