Google confirms stopping Nexus 5 production

When Google launched the Nexus 5 last year, owners found it to be well-designed, offered the latest features Android had to offer at the time (Nexus devices are the first to run the latest version of Android), offered the best performance among devices launched in 2013, offered the best usability, and offered the best value for your money. It seems, however, that if you want to get your hands on the smartphone, you’re going to have to get your hands on it now, since the search giant has confirmed that the device will no longer be in production.

Google confirmed this with TechRadar, with a Google spokesperson saying that “once they are gone, they’re gone, so we’d suggest people get them while they can.”

Currently, only the black colour option is available from the Google Play Store. However, the 16 GB and 32 GB storage options were out of stock.

Are you planning to get your hands on the Google Nexus 5 since Google will be stopping production, or would you rather get your hands on the Google Nexus 6? Let us know through a comment on our Phones LTD Facebook page.
