Earlier, we came across the rear casing of the gold version of the HTC One (M9), which was leaked by French-speaking NWE. Now the gold variant of the Taiwanese phone maker’s next flagship has made another appearance via Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo. This time, the handset is seen wearing the new DotView case as well as a new render.
The new photos show the gold version of the HTC One (M9) in another angle as well as another image that shows what seems to be a press render of the device. Two more photos show the smartphone wrapped in the new DotView case. According to past reports, the new DotView cases will be available in two new colours – yellow and turquoise. In this photo a black colour variant is shown.
As for the HTC One (M9)’s rumoured specs and features, the smartphone is said to sport a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) screen, BoomSound speakers with slimmed down speaker grills, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, and a 20-megapixel rear-facing single camera unit that replaces the Duo Camera found on the HTC one (M8).
Of course, we can’t confirm if these rumours are accurate, but the good news is we won’t have to wait very long to find out if the rumours are true or not. HTC is expected to lift the lid on the HTC One (M9) at MWC 2015 on the 1st of March.
