Google recently lifted the lid on its new phablet, the Google Nexus 6. This massive device sports a 6-inch screen and runs the latest version of Android (Lollipop) out of the box. However, its size isn’t for everyone as some people have smaller hands and some have larger hands. For people with larger hands, using the device won’t be a problem, but for people with smaller hands it may be a problem. Google, however, says that 50% of users who use the smartphone for a week “like it and not go back.”
This is according to Google’s vice president of engineering for Android, David Burke. In an interview with CNET, he said, “If you gave them a phablet for a week, 50 percent of those would say they like it and not go back.”
We’re guessing 50% of these users have huge hands.
For those who have smaller hands and are looking for something smaller, Burke says that you still have to option of getting your hands on last year’s Google Nexus 5 made by LG.
Another disadvantage of the Nexus 6 is that you can’t put it in your pocket. So if you like putting your smartphone in your pocket, this phablet may not be for you.
