We’ve now seen all of the announced colour schemes launched for LG‘s new flagship G4 smart phone with two being released as network exclusive colours.
The red leather backed LG G4 is being exclusively sold on Vodafone pay monthly deals whilst the ceramic white version can only currently be connected to Three Mobile contracts and on pay as you go.
When handsets are released as network exclusives, we ordinarily find they are slightly more expensive than their freely available counterparts, this also looks to be the case with the white and red editions of LG’s new offering.
The LG G4 in red leather on Vodafone deals is available with no upfront cost from £35 a month which includes 1000 minutes of calls and 1GB of monthly data, in comparison with the brown and black leather editions of the G4, this is slightly more expensive with both of them being available as a free phone from £32 a month.
Three Mobile prices for the LG G4 in White offer a free phone from a more expensive £37 a month which provides unlimited calls and 4GB of data, in comparison with the other hard-backed metallic gray (titanium / titan grey) LG G4 phone this is exactly the same price, simply because no third party retailers have yet released Three Mobile contract prices.
For those that don’t want a new contract deals and prefer to pre-pay, the LG G4 on Pay As You Go Three Mobile currently costs £479.99, this is the same price offered on O2 Pay & Go.
The Shiny Gold LG G4 is not yet available on the Three Mobile network.
Same Features – Different Covers
The LG G4 has a subtle arc design and features the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop, a 16 megapixel camera and 5.5-inch Quad HD display.
The 16 megapixel Laser AF camera with f1.8 lens rivals the quality, capability and versatility of a professional DSLR camera. Take clear pictures quickly with the G4‘s laser detection auto-focus, even in low light, or set it to manual mode and turn every moment into a work of art.
The 5.5-inch Quad HD display features a next-generation IPS Quantum display, which makes watching movies feel like you’re at the cinema. The LG G4 produces high-contrast, vibrant images that are rich and authentic in colour and amazingly true-to-life – even in direct sunlight.
Ideal for capturing high-quality selfies, the wide-angle 8 megapixel front-facing camera has one of the highest specifications in its class. And with Gesture Shot and Gesture View you can set the timer by opening and closing your hand – giving you time to pose for the perfect shot.
Unlike many other smartphones, the LG G4 has a removable battery – so you’ll have the option to swap an empty battery for a full one without stopping to charge. And with a 3,000mAH capacity, the battery is powerful enough to keep you going all day.
