Frist Pre-Order Prices for Samsung Galaxy S6 & S6 Edge Contracts

Well, it was supposed to officially be tomorrow when retailers launch Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge pre-order prices, however we’ve seen the first batch released today to give us an idea of how much these new flagship phones will cost.

S6 & S6 Edge Pre-Order Deals

If you’re looking for a free Galaxy S6 Edge with no upfront cost then there’s only currently one available, you’ll need to sign up to a monthly contract costing £58.49 a month which includes 20GB of data and unlimited calls.

The most popular of these new deals is £10 less at £48.49 a month which offers 10GB of data with unlimited calls and there’s a £129.99 upfront cost for the S6 Edge.

Moving to the Samsung Galaxy S6 we see that prices are slightly cheaper with a free phone available from £46.99 a month including 5GB of data and unlimited minutes on EE.

Again the most popular deals are cheaper with an upfront price, for the S6 these are priced at £43.99 with an upfront cost of £49 which offers 10GB of data and unlimited calls.

As with the S6 Edge, EE tariffs start at £16.99 and Vodafone prices from £26.50.

More Deals Soon

These are the very first contract prices we’ve seen for the two new Galaxy phone, we expect there to be an influx of more competitive deals launched tomorrow as competing retailers and networks all release their packages.

The moral of this post? If you are looking to buy either the Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge then hold out for at least a few days. Neither are officially available until April 10th so there’s going to be some serious price shuffling in the meantime.

The downside is that the S6 Edge is rumoured to be suffering from lower stocks due to the complexity of manufacturing the dual-edged display.

This is a double-edged sword (excuse the pun) and means that the earlier you order the more likely you are to get your hands on one. As with any stock shortages we tend to see the prices rise.
