Three unannounced BlackBerry smartphones have surfaced on Weibo, China’s equivalent of Twitter. The three are believed to be the BlackBerry Oslo (successor of the BlackBerry Passport), the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9984, and the BlackBerry Venice.
The image you see above is said to be the BlackBerry Oslo. It is said that the Oslo will sport similar specs as the BlackBerry Passport. These include a squarish screen with a resolution of 1440 x 1440 pixels, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation), and a massive 3,450 mAh battery. It will sport the same smart QWERTY keyboard as the Passport. BlackBerry is expected to lift the lid on the Oslo on the 30th of June.
The image above is said to be the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9984. Word on the street is that the P’9984 will be patterned after the BlackBerry Passport, including its unique QWERTY keyboard. Like every Porsche Design smartphone, expect the P’9984 to target the rich and affluent.
These last two images are said to show the BlackBerry Venice (or BlackBerry Slider), the Canadian phone maker’s rumoured slider. The Venice is a high-end device that sports a 5.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (Quad HD), a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, an octa-core processor, and a 3,650 mAh battery. BlackBerry is expected to lift the lid on the Venice this fall.
